I trained from an early age with the International Dance Teachers Association in Latin American, Modern, Ballroom, Jazz and Disco dancing and also in Tap, Modern Ballet and Stage Jazz. I have been involved in theatre for over thirty years and was nominated for the Northern Electric & Gas Arts Individual Award in 1999. In 2000 I was Choreographer and Principle Dancer for The Churches of Furness' productions of Hopes & Dreams - A New Musical for a New Millennium and Hopes & Glory in 2001. I was awarded the National Operatic & Dramatic Association ~ Best Choreographer Award 2002 for 42nd STREET, beating off competition from the North West of England, Best Production Award for BUGSY MALONE in 2001 and nominated for Best Youth Production for Wizard of Oz in 2003, Around the World in 80 Days in 2004 and Les Miserables in 2005. I have been a Choreographer, Dancer & Actor in numerous productions including pantomimes, musicals and variety ranging from Old Time Music Hall to West Side Story. Most recently I have directed Walney Juniors' production of Les Miserables SE and A590 Youth Theatre (Seniors) production of 'Thursday's Child', and choreographed Furness Youth Theatres' production of Sleeping Beauty, all to critical acclaim.  For a full resume please follow the link on the right.
